Who We Are

Located just outside of Qualicum Beach, in the community of Whiskey Creek on Vancouver Island BC, founders Earl Godwin and Dave Ostapin started E&D Manufacturing in 1988. Together with a vision that would revolutionize the boat building industry, Earl and Dave saw the demand, to create a company building aluminum boats. In 2003 Earl’s son Larry Godwin  became the general manager of E&D Manufacturing and eventually started working under the trade name of Whiskey Creek Marine.   

With Larry’s retirement at the end of 2023, Paul Barnes took on the role of General Manager. Long-time employee, Lead Welder/ Fabricator, Gary Wiltse has taken on the role of Estimator/Shop Foreman. Ben Francis will continue his role as Welder /Fabricator, and Karina Wilson has now taken on the role of Office Administrator. Together, this cohesive team will take Whiskey Creek Marine into the future.
